Sales Operations Analyst I

Job Summary

As the Channel Sales Operations Analyst, you will be reporting to the Manager Channel Sales Operations.

This role is a critical one within the Global Sales Operations team where you will be the point person for received partner deal registrations. You will work closely with the Channel Sales and Account Executives to evaluate Channel Registrations, ensuring they adhere to the guidelines for acceptance. You will work to develop relationship with the Channel Partners to support their deal registration requests. The position is also responsible for auditing deal registration for compliance and to ensure correct accounting in SFDC effecting both reporting and compensation. You will also have the opportunity for performing ad hoc analysis and monthly reporting on Channel Sales metrics.

The Channel Registration Analyst is responsible for Channel deal registration, working with experienced Sales and Sales Operations teams to drive improvements and accuracy across the deal registration process. You will directly support the Channel Sales team and interact with both field and channel sellers daily.

Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact for the Global Channel registrations
  • Work closely with Regional and Global Sales Ops functional leaders to provide support for the Channel teams
  • Support and frequently interact with Partner Account Managers and senior sales management in their day to day sales roles
  • Audit and report Channel deal registrations on a periodic basis
  • Work with Channel leadership and the Sales planning team to facilitate proper coverage of market opportunity
  • Recommend changes and improvements to process to ensure sustainable and high quality deliverables to the Channel Sales team
  • Liaise directly between all parties (Channel and Field Sellers), establishing trusted partnerships internally and externally to grow the business
  • Facilitate deal registration disputes resolution by the regional and global Sales OPS teams and partners
  • Act as an escalation point for the Sales team for Channel registration issues
  • Proactively resolving any data issues related to Channel opportunities/accounts in SFDC
  • Tightly aligning with the Equinix Rules of Engagement, and Sales Compensation rules
  • Being an internal Partner Champion building relationships within EQIX partners, mastering the internal channel process, and sharing best practice
  • Ad hoc analytical reporting for the Channel with respect to Channels deal registrations, partner audits, etc.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong SFDC experience, preferably working in a Channel Role or similar
  • Have analytical skills - the ability to analyze statistical data and make appropriate decisions and recommendations
  • Have strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to work cross functionally
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Be highly adept at problem solving
  • Have demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver on commitments
  • Be team oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
