Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned product marketing professional to lead product marketing content strategy, coordination, development, and execution across industry, partner, customer and internal events. This role will be instrumental in aligning messaging, content, speakers, demonstrations with event goals and business strategy to ensure each event realizes its full business potential.

This role involves innovative thinking, strategic planning, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability, The right individual for this role is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing product marketing initiatives at events, leading cross-functional teams, and leveraging data to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Events Management and Partner Marketing teams to develop a tiered support model and operational framework for a diverse range of events
  • Design and implement engaging event experiences by integrating compelling messaging, content demonstration and innovative concepts
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to create and deliver impactful event messaging, keynote presentations, solution demonstrations, analyst/influencer relations, as well as customer advocacy engagements
  • Lead the team in meeting deadlines while producing high-impact product marketing materials and keynote presentations
  • Oversee the editing, proofreading, and quality control of content produced
  • Oversee and actively participate in event execution as required, which may involve up to 25% travel
  • Conduct performance analysis and improvement recommendations of product marketing content and event tactics
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key event stakeholders, strategic partners, and suppliers to ensure successful collaboration
  • Research and analyze market and industry trends that may influence content performance at both internal and external meetings
  • Manage PSM events budget components, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control measures are in place

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and engagement with diverse audiences
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work
  • Proficient in strategic planning, with the ability to develop and implement long-term goals and initiatives
  • Expertise in project management, demonstrating the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion while adhering to timelines and budgets
  • Skilled in risk management, with the capacity to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, fostering positive relationships and ensuring alignment with key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
  • Competent in financial budgeting and impact analysis, with experience in resource allocation and evaluating financial implications of projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 4 years in a managerial role with responsibility of event strategy and execution
  • Proven track record of and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems and analytics platforms
  • Passion for promoting and integrating company culture into all aspects of work
  • Up to 25% travel, based on business need

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

  • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $179,000 to $269,000 per year
  • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $171,000 to $257,000 per year
  • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $155,000 to $233,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
