Objective:
Equinix Interconnect services is the key for business expansion, hence the network operations is crucial field where consistent improvement in capacity management and inventory management is important for timely provisioning of circuits and serving customers demand. It is also important to consistently audit the installed services for data integrity, to avoid missing the revenue.
Description:
Students will be involved in day to day network operations, such as activation and deactivation of customer services by installing and configuring network and other supporting equipment for direct customer revenue, Network Capacity additions, audit the integrity of the data and make necessary corrections as and when it is required. Students with simple scripting knowledge can suggest and improve the operations through automation.
Responsibilities:
Deployment
- Work on customer migration activity
- Standardize configuration on platform services
- Assist in documentation and Change Management
Product Development Lifecycle Engagements
- Test Phase: Participates in UAT for ECO and Interconnection product releases connection
- Participates in tech drills and learns hands-on on devices to train
Learning Outcome
- Learns and understands the network devices being deployed
- Exposure in UAT environment for product knowledge
- Exposure to Network devices and its know how

- Ontrack to graduate from Diploma in Computer Engineering from local Singapore Polytechnics in 2026
