FP&A Intern
Overview of Function, Team, and Role
Assists with financial analysis, forecasting/budgeting, operational/metric analysis, business partnering, and ad hoc reporting.
Intern Assignment and Responsibility
- Assists with Tax, Rent and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) quarterly forecast and monthly expenses tracking
- Assists with M&A business partnering, monthly reports and cost analysis
- Utilizes Hyperion tool for entering and retrieving financial data and KPIs
- Provides support to the FP&A team as needed
- Other ad hoc duties and analysis as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Working towards the achievement of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must be detailed oriented, analytically driven, able to produce quality work
