About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Customer Operations team as a Data Center Technician Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will support the operations and maintenance of our data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Support:

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of server hardware and network equipment.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts related to system health, network status, and customer issues.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and replace faulty components as necessary.

Customer Operations:

  • Support customer onboarding by configuring and verifying their systems within the data center.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Operations team to address and resolve technical issues.

Maintenance and Documentation:

  • Conduct routine data center inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment installations, and incident reports.
  • Document processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow company guidelines and industry best practices for safety and security within the data center.
  • Support audits and compliance checks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of server hardware, networking concepts, and operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Availability to work on-site or in a hybrid model (depending on the role's location).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in relevant education for this role.
  • Fluent Portuguese and some knowledge of ENGLISH are a must.
  • Understanding and strong interest of data centers.
