Data Center Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Intermediate Dutch needed

As a Critical Maintenance Engineer at Equinix's you will have the unique opportunity to develop your skills while working on complex infrastructure in a rapidly growing industry. Our team, which includes electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, a planner, and a supervisor, is dedicated to maintaining and optimising our state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced electrical installations, including:
    • Power Distribution Units (PDU)
    • Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
    • Relief systems
    • Emergency power systems
    • NEN1010 inspections
    • NEN3140 inspections
  • Ensure all tasks are executed according to established procedures and documented accurately.
  • Uphold high standards of working time, quality, and innovate in efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from the Maintenance department and other Critical Facility Engineers at the data centers.

  • Candidates with a technical diploma of MBO 4 level or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.
  • Location: Amsterdam.
  • Additional qualifications in STEK refrigeration technology and/or F-gases are advantageous.

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $53,000 to $82,000 per year
• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $49,000 to $75,000 per year
• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $44,000 to $68,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
