LOCATION: 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Gather information and analyze data to determine appropriate client benefit plans.
  • Market and determine Suite of Services vendor’s best suited for client.
  • Daily management of assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for open enrollment and new carrier installations.
  • Act as primary service contact for the client.
  • Manages and leads CSR to resolve client billing, claims and eligibility issues.
  • Develop and maintain client and carrier relationships.
  • Assist in the delivery of marketing presentations.
  • Ensure company database is kept current.
  • Document all client activity in company database.
  • Ensure client data is kept accurate and electronic files maintained.
  • Generate various communication documents for clients.
  • Ensure that all service commitments are met.
  • Ensure the production, delivery and accuracy of contracts, benefit summaries, 5500’s and Wrap SPD.
  • Assist in the delivery of midyear presentations.
  • Accompany account team on client meetings outside of the office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

BALANCE - Effectively manages personal feelings and emotions, especially in situations involving crises or conflicts. Functions in a controlled manner when under stress.

ATTITUDE - Exhibits an attitude which is positive, open to new ideas, and committed to achieving the desired results.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

  • CA Life and Health License.
  • 5+ years' experience in employee benefits industry.
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.

The national average salary for this role is $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
