Position Title: Full-time Manager, Market Liaison and Data Analysis

Position Duties & Minimum Requirements: 

Lead the analysis of contingent commission payment, providing insights into financial implications and risks; utilize knowledge of insurance finance and accounting to develop models and maintain predictive models for contingent commission, supporting strategic decision-making and financial planning & budget; collaborate with legal teams to review producer agreement and supplemental commission deals; review financial terms and recommend strategies to leadership team; lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for contingency income; integrate contingent payment variables and collaborating with teams to ensure income is allocated accordingly; extract data from billing systems and data warehouse using SQL queries; utilize advanced data analysis techniques (Excel, MS VB, Power BI) to translate business requirements into business analytics; provide on-demand analytics for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, local offices, and carriers and wholesalers partners; prepare consolidated financial results and presentation materials for the annual CIAB and RIMS conferences; provide insight to senior leadership on premium trends and broking/placement activities; collaborate with other teams to build and maintain an internal dashboard to provide carrier insight to Market Relations team; maintain internal mapping tables for carriers, intermediary, products and offices; partake in the data council team in strengthening EPIC's data accuracy and integrity; monitor AM Best ratings of insurers and promptly notify procedures of any rating downgrade/withdrawal that may impact their clients; monitor and analyze the financial stability of insurers and assist with providing commentary on insurers' claims paying ability based on their statutory financials; communicate downgrade rating on carriers to producers/account managers; train and mentor junior staff in the company. 

Minimum Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Must have a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics and 1 year of experience as Senior Analyst including predictive modeling and insurance industry.

Location:

Employer's Headquarters located in Greenwich, CT; HYBRID position located in San Ramon, CA. Periodic relocation and/or travel may be required to various unanticipated work sites in the U.S.

Compensation: 

The rate of pay for this role is $128,398.00 annually in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.
