Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and backend systems using Python and the Pytest framework
- Conduct web service testing, ensuring APIs meet functional, performance, and security requirements
- Work with Postman to test and validate APIs as part of the automation process
- Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Perform performance testing of web services using JMeter and analyze results to ensure optimal system performance
- Document and report test cases, test results, and issues found during testing
- Participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to the improvement of testing practices within the team
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing testing workflows and tracking progress
- Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in web service automation using the Pytest framework
- Solid understanding of web service testing, including API testing and validation
- Experience with Postman for API testing and validation
- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter, including analysis and interpretation of test results
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, with a working knowledge of scrum processes
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing test cases and sprint workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
