Technical Release Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-facing Mobile Release Manager to support the internal release pipeline for various applications, with a specific focus on iOS and Android platforms.
This role requires a strong technical background as it involves tracking external dependencies related to iOS and Android updates, ensuring that dependent applications address upcoming issues promptly, and guaranteeing that releases are not impacted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct iOS and Android dependency assessments and manage dependencies to ensure seamless integration and timely releases
• Coordinate closely with the Core Engineering team to track, escalate, and drive resolution of bugs and issues
• Develop and maintain a tracking system for external dependencies and their impact on internal projects
• Proactively communicate with project teams about upcoming iOS and Android updates and potential impacts
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align strategies and actions for handling platform updates
• Ensure that all teams are prepared for platform changes and that compatibility issues are resolved before releases
• Monitor the progress of issue resolution and dependency management and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing platform dependencies

• At least 2 years of proven experience in release management, project management, or a related technical field
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems under pressure
• Background in coordinating and collaborating with multiple technical teams
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and reliability are essential
