Responsibilities
- Program & Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of adapter development and integration projects within the OSS domain
- Technical Leadership: Analyze Java code, conduct pull request reviews, ensure best coding practices, and provide architectural guidance
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of coordination between development teams, upstream/downstream system owners, and BAs, ensuring alignment and smooth execution
- Agile Execution: Drive Agile best practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative development
- Architecture & Design: Work closely with architects and developers to define scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to optimize deployment, scaling, and performance of applications
- Process & SDLC Optimization: Define and enforce best practices across SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify technical and operational risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive resolution

- 5+ years of recent Java development experience (active coding within the last 5 years, even if in a hybrid role)
- Deep understanding of Java ecosystems including Spring, Microservices, REST APIs, and Distributed Systems
- Experience in architecture & design of large-scale enterprise applications
- Proficiency in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or other cloud providers
- Strong Agile expertise (Scrum/Kanban methodologies)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps best practices
- Prior experience with OSS/BSS systems (e.g., Netcracker, or similar platforms)
- Familiarity with adapter development and integration patterns
- Understanding of network provisioning, service activation, and telco domain
- Experience in leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000.
