We are looking for a Systems Engineer - Amazon Connect - Python/Node.js to join our team.
In this role, you will collaborate with internal customers to understand and implement best practices for migrating to Amazon Connect within AWS cloud environments. You will help deliver proof-of-concept projects and lead implementation efforts for major enterprises. Responsibilities
- Assist internal customers in collaborating with AWS teams to build production-grade environments for Amazon Connect
- Define and deliver Professional Services engagements by understanding customer requirements and proposing solutions
- Participate in short on-site projects demonstrating AWS services for distributed computing solutions
- Support the integration of existing call centers into Amazon Connect
- Gather feedback from partners and customers to inform AWS technology roadmaps
- Contribute to best practices through whitepapers and playbooks
- Work with new vendors to help them become managed service providers
- Provide guidance on organizational, security, and compliance aspects of cloud transformation
- Coach customers and partner teams to promote self-sufficiency
- Architect and build solutions that integrate seamlessly into cloud and hybrid models
- Help internal customers implement frameworks for assessing and migrating call center operations
- Maintain knowledge of enterprise call center technologies and trends
- Develop reusable artifacts and reference architectures for clients
- Engage with clients to understand their unique needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Support large-scale solution architecture and deployment in AWS environments
- Drive continuous improvement in call center operations using AWS capabilities
- Experience in building call center platforms in a Cloud or On-Premises environment for 4+ years
- Professional Services or consulting experience in customer-facing roles
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing contact center solutions at scale
- Knowledge of Amazon Connect capabilities and deployment requirements
- Background in enterprise call center operations and telecommunications
- Familiarity with serverless development and integrations with Amazon Lex and Lambda
- Proficiency in AWS services within distributed environments including Microsoft and Oracle
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
- Experience in using AWS Java SDK to call AWS services
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS Java Cloud Development Kit for deployment automation
- Experience in developing serverless services such as Lambda functions and DynamoDB
- Competency in automation using AWS orchestration tools like Terraform
- Understanding of data formats including JSON and YAML
- Experience in source code management tools such as GitHub or GitLab
- English proficiency at a professional level
- Experience in Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes on AWS EKS
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL data stores like AWS DynamoDB
- Familiarity with AWS core services including EC2 and S3
- Ability to write automation scripts in Python or PowerShell
- Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins or AWS CodeDeploy
