Support Engineer - GKE and Anthos

We are looking for a dedicated Support Engineer to join our team and provide top-notch technical support for GKE and Anthos infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will help maintain customer satisfaction and respond swiftly to queries using their deep understanding of GKE and Anthos technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Address, diagnose, resolve and track support issues through email, phone, and chat
  • Achieve response and resolution times as per service level objectives
  • Uphold high customer satisfaction scores and comply with quality standards in most cases
  • Employ troubleshooting tools and techniques to determine root causes of issues and communicate these assessments to customers
  • Classify problems internally, document preventative actions and enhance retroactive analysis
  • File issue reports, document procedures, suggest code-level fixes and collaborate with engineers to resolve complex bugs
  • Manage community forums as necessary
  • Provide custom solutions for customer-specific architectural needs limited to specific products or features
  • Adhere to notification and escalation protocols
  • Maintain communication standards with business on operational issues
Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in support projects or 24x7 operational environments
  • Expertise in customer service and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Skills in clear and effective communication
  • Competency in conveying technical content in an organized manner
  • Capability to work and interact successfully within a global team
  • Advanced knowledge in Linux/Unix environments, including troubleshooting, command line usage and a deep understanding of system constraints
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Background in systems architecture and infrastructure
  • Analytical capabilities for decomposing complex issues and interpreting code
  • Intermediate understanding of Web Technologies, including HTTP and Authentication networking, TCP/IP troubleshooting, DNS and IP routing
  • Basics of programming and system design/scaling
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, webservers and frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1 level)

  • Basic skills in Network basics, Programming Technologies and Web Services
