We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in augmenting our customer engineering team and jump-starting new features and initiatives in the area of Institutional (B2B) EdTech Solutions.

Responsibilities
- Engage with multiple technical platform stakeholders to understand the AS-IS solution and provide both detailed low-level and high-level solution architecture based on business requirements
- Participate in event storming sessions and coordinate for approval of high-level solution architecture with relevant teams
- Contribute to the initial project setup, onboarding of development teams, and hands-on coding to support complex features development
- Conduct feasibility analysis through proof of concept (PoC) development and ongoing support of development teams

- At least 7 years of experience in software development and architecture positions
- Practical experience as a Solution Architect in Web, preferably SaaS, external user-facing platforms with rich front-end experiences
- Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and solution architecture design practices, particularly full-stack
- Proficiency in Java/SpringBoot microservices and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Fluency in English at a B2+ level or higher, essential for effective collaboration within customer teams
- Former EdTech (e-Learning) experience (LMS and alike)
- Full-stack experience (front-end development)
- Periodic trips to Pearson office in Madrid - once per quarter for ~1 wk (the position is still fully remote)
