As a Software Engineer proficient in Python and Java, you will become a member of the rapidly expanding European Investment Management IT team. This position involves working with cutting-edge technologies in a Microservice architecture, utilizing a development stack that encompasses Python, Java, Amazon Web Services (including AWS Analytics), Atlassian toolsets (such as Bamboo and Bitbucket), and Cucumber automated testing. This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Gdansk.

• Develop and maintain software applications using Python (60%-70% focus) and Java (30%-40% focus) within a fast-paced global environment
• Utilize classic data structures and computer algorithms to optimize solutions, applying fundamental mathematical, optimization, and data analysis skills in problem-solving
• Employ Python programming skills in conjunction with data analytical libraries like Pandas and NumPy to manage and analyze data effectively
• Operate autonomously and collaboratively within an Agile framework

• Experience in software development in Python and skilled in Java
• Expertise in AWS Lambda and AWS Simple Storage Service
• Comfortable using classic data structures and computer algorithms
• Fundamental mathematical, optimization, and data analysis skills
• Focus on details and maintain critical approach to accuracy, passionate with computer programming
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience working in Agile

• Experience in any quantitative, mathematical or data analytic projects: e.g. computer simulation, numeric computation, mathematical modelling, data analysis, statistical analysis
• Experience in data analytical libraries, e. g. Pandas, NumPy
• Investment Management knowledge
