Shopify Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Solution Architect to join our core team. This role involves actively contributing to the development of the Shopify practice and enhancing expertise within EPAM Ukraine.
We seek a candidate with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Plus, who is well-versed in website migration and deployment processes on Shopify, as well as theme customization and functionality configuration.
Our ideal candidate should take a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making, analyze website performance metrics, and use data-driven insights to optimize conversion rates and improve overall site performance.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into effective Shopify e-commerce solutions
• Provide expert recommendations and advisory support to team members and clients on Shopify themes, plugins, and integrations based on project goals
• Develop comprehensive migration or deployment strategies tailored to each client's unique needs
• Leverage Shopify apps to extend the core functionality of Shopify storefronts and implement dynamic solutions that meet client requirements
• Conduct quality testing of completed features before delivering the solution to the client to ensure compliance with project objectives
• Optimize and refine Shopify solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience
• Build strong client relationships and provide strategic recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Shopify solutions
• Stay up to date with the latest Shopify trends and e-commerce technologies to drive innovation, improve business understanding, and enhance service delivery
• Document technical implementations, configurations, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce solution development
• 2+ years of experience as a Shopify Solution Architect or in a similar role
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Plus, with proven experience delivering at least two projects on the Shopify platform
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster effective relationships with stakeholders and handle solution architecture tasks
• Experience working with microservices, event-driven architectures in high-load systems and applications
• Attention to detail
• Strong understanding of different architectural patterns and styles
• Experience with React
• English proficiency at B2+ level

• Any architectural certifications from: Software Engineering Institute (SEI), The Open Group (TOGAF), International Association for All IT Architects (IASA)
