Responsibilities

  • Interface and communicate daily with the customer as primary point of contact regarding any delivery issues
  • Proactively communicate project status and risks to the stakeholders
  • Prioritize issues and resolve bottlenecks
  • Manage geo-distributed team. Inspire people to be responsible for the value they deliver
  • Ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team. Solve people management issues
  • Look for opportunities to develop the account. Attending pre-sales activities. Contribute to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Infrastructure Upgrade (and planning)
  • Co-ordinate with DBA, Linux/ AIX team, Windows Team
  • Planning and coordination for monthly/ quarterly patching activities for infrastructure components - OS, DB
  • Change Management, Incident Management, Service Management (MSR, WSR- create, participate)
  • Support Platform & Application Releases
  • Operational Recovery and Disaster Recovery Testing
  • Planning, Co-ordination with various stakeholders, Execution

  • 3+ years' experience delivering services or projects in support, integration, security, and DevOps areas as a manager, e.g. Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Team Leader
  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework (Service Operations) and Agile practices (Kanban\Scrum)
  • Deep understanding of SDLC processes, related development practices, and toolset
  • Experience in setting up service projects
  • Ability to manage a team of 10+ people and resolve people management issues
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to set effective communication with clients and internally
  • Work without supervision, ability to make decisions, and have effective communication with high management
