We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior/Lead SAP Integration Engineer who is proficient in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will drive the design and implementation of integration solutions, ensuring system interoperability and data consistency across multiple platforms.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in large-scale SAP implementation projects
  • Design, evaluate, and document reliable and scalable integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP integration leveraging various technologies (SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Kafka, 3rd party application integration services and solutions, etc.)
  • Provide input to architecture, security, and data standards, ensuring governance and compliance with these standards
  • Foster effective communication by engaging proactively with customers' teams, ensuring alignment and transparency in project goals and expectations
  • Collaborate seamlessly as an integral member of a global team, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise to deliver exceptional results across multinational projects
  • Expand your knowledge and experience in SAP systems and beyond

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in CPI implementations
  • Experience in developing Groovy scripts within CPI environments: data transformations (XmlSlurper, JsonSlurper, XmlParser); closures; scripts for value mapping (including working with context); 3rd party SDK usage (e.g. AWS)
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and CPI best practices
  • Understanding of the CPI internal architecture, pricing models, account setup
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP adapters (Asynchronous messaging, SOAP RM, IDoc)
  • Experience with one or more streaming platforms and message queues (SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the commonly used Authentication mechanisms, Encryption mechanisms
  • Experience with Exception handling, logging
  • Understanding Quality of Service in CPI (how to achieve Exactly-Once, At Least Once)
  • Understanding of the Cloud Connector Configuration
  • Understanding of the BTP security configuration (OAuth configuration, roles)
  • Experience in configuring standard SAP content in SAP CI and communication systems
  • Good understanding of the networking concepts (TCP/IP stack)
  • High-level understanding of ISA-M
  • API&data model knowledge of two or more SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP CX systems, SuccessFactors, etc.)
  • Experience in working with certificates (e.g. understanding how to establish SSL handshake between communication systems)
  • High-level understanding of SOA and EDA
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency in English (B1-B2 level; preferably B2 due to frequent customer interactions)
