We are looking for a Senior Virtual Systems Engineer.

The candidate will assist the Systems Engineering team with all project objectives and provide day to day End user escalation Support to all users globally, working closely with security and Compliance to vailed new application requests and maintenance task requirements before transition to production.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple Windows platforms in physical and virtual environments
• Maintain desktop images and modify SCCM task sequences as needed
• Update and upkeep existing support documents
• Offer advice, guidance, and direction to implement plans and procedures
• Deliver last-tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to formulate solutions
• Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, including creating images, deploying VMs and monitoring VM performance
• Develop automated solutions for deploying software packages, application patches/updates, and workstation images
• Monitor and respond to alerts from desktops using CyberArk
• Coordinate and support PXE environment using 1E products
• Orchestrate Microsoft and 3rd party patch deployments
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Auto Pilot deployments
• Manage Microsoft Intune for Windows Device Management (device configuration, policies, etc.)

• At least 5 years of hands-on involvement with Azure Virtual Desktops
• Over 5 years in a System Engineer role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, FsLogix, GPO, Active Directory, and PowerShell
• Background in day-to-day System Engineer Operations and escalation support
• Expertise in developing and testing software packages using InstallShield or equivalent
• Competency in managing a VDI environment (Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
