We have a team of approximately 100 engineers (Developers, QAs, BAs, and Project Managers) distributed between Westport, USA, and Malaga, Spain, working on one comprehensive solution.

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Test Automation Engineer specializing in .NET to test the hedge fund's multi-asset class order management and execution management system.

Responsibilities
  • Define and document the testing strategy, plan, and scope of testing for various features in parallel
  • Organize and control the testing process from a business value perspective
  • Facilitate inter-team communication across feature teams and POs
  • Define test automation levels for a variety of features and components to support the test automation pyramid
  • Write test automation scripts, extending the framework's implementation when required
  • Support our functional testers with manual testing activities when needed
  • Participate in the code review process following standardized principles and conventions
  • Be proactive, not tolerating problems, with the ability to work in environments with rapidly changing requirements and goals
Requirements
  • 3+ years of QA experience and at least 3 years of experience in Test Automation using .NET
  • Strong understanding of functional testing practices, documentation, and processes
  • Good knowledge of C# and OOP
  • Experience in working with NUnit
  • Understanding of CI tools (Azure DevOps/Jenkins, TeamCity)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to speak up when required
  • Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level of English
Nice to have
  • Understanding of the capital markets business domain and experience in testing trading platforms are big advantages
  • Experience in building from scratch or/and extending automation testing frameworks will be a plus
  • Experience in direct communication with clients
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Experience working in multicultural environments
  • Experience in API testing
  • Experience with SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSLT, XPath, CSS
