Senior Tableau Developer

We are seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to strengthen our data analytics team.

Responsibilities

• Develop Tableau dashboards tailored to business needs
• Write complex SQL queries to support ad-hoc analyses
• Collaborate with clients onsite to gather and analyze requirements
• Identify and recommend optimal solutions for data challenges
• Leverage data modeling and ETL processes to build analytics infrastructure
• Oversee and maintain scheduled jobs using Central Data Manager
• Apply proprietary tools to manage and analyze data
• Perform code comparisons and analysis using Diffs
• Contribute to building data pipelines through Dataswarm tools
• Work with MySQL and Oracle databases for operational support

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization
• Proficiency in SQL with a strong foundation in advanced query techniques
• Expertise in Tableau for dashboard creation and reporting
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes
• Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop and Hive
• Competency in version control systems like Mercurial
• English language skills for effective communication with clients

• Familiarity with PrestoDB for database querying
• Understanding of Scuba In-Memory Database systems
• Proficiency in leveraging VS Code as a development environment
• Experience with Python notebooks such as Bento or Jupyter
• Background in working with enterprise analytics and reporting platforms
