Senior Systems Engineer (Kafka)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is expertise in Kafka. Join as one of crucial role in the team, you will leverage your strong technical expertise in assessing new software projects, enhancing the existing applications and contribute to deliver sustainable solutions.

What You'll Do

• Providing strong technical Kafka expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives, enhance our existing applications and advise technology teams how to optimally use Kafka technology
• Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems related to events and messaging platforms and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions based on Kafka and other event-driven technologies
• Build, maintain and enhance the Kafka platform
• Perform high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and create preventive measures.

• Hands-on production experience and a deep understanding of the Kafka architecture and internals of how it works, along with the interplay of architectural components: brokers, Zookeeper, producers/consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams
• Knowledge of the Kafka Connect framework
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux as a power user
• Experience in planning and delivering solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
• Ability to code in any scripting language also desirable
