We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and facilitate the migration of our services to the OpenShift platform, aiming to make our infrastructure cloud-agnostic.
Currently, our systems are situated in the public cloud environments (GCP and Azure) and utilize Azure DevOps for operational pipelines. You will be instrumental in orchestrating deployments, configuring environments, and leveraging automation using Python, bash, and PowerShell.

Responsibilities
- Migrate existing services to the OpenShift platform
- Ensure that the infrastructure is cloud-agnostic
- Configure environments using Azure DevOps
- Deploy new applications across our platforms
- Automate repetitive tasks using Python, bash or PowerShell
- Utilize knowledge of networking and operating systems to maintain infrastructure
- Tackle operational issues with effective problem-solving skills
- Monitor cloud operations and improve system performance based on SLI metrics
- Work with cloud providers, specifically GCP and Azure, to optimize resource utilization
- Handle debugging tasks efficiently across various systems
- Contribute to team efforts for maintaining system reliability and security

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on development
- Extensive experience with infrastructure including networking and operating systems
- Proficiency in Linux environments
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
- Demonstrated debugging skills and the ability to handle operational issues
- Competency in Python, bash or PowerShell for task automation
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and understanding of SLI concepts
- Background in working with cloud platforms, particularly GCP or Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure migrations
- Experience with Windows platform
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, especially with Azure DevOps
- Understanding of Istio and GitOps tools like ArgoCD
