Senior Systems Engineer (DevOps)

Sitting within the Information Technology Department, the Tech Support / Admin will be part of the team responsible for driving the transformation initiatives in end-user computing environment, covering service, performance, quality, and budget forecasting.

You will play a key role as a Senior Tech Support Engineer to drive service, performance and quality management in the end-user environment necessary to support the organization's digital transformation.

What You'll Do

• Apply cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes
• Put in place continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) process and tools to enable the agile team to deliver quality software based on user feedback
• Develop scripts to automate build, software release, application deployment and system and application management
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures and data security
• Conduct automated system-level vulnerability security scan, harden system and application platform
• Liaise with 3rd party software and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

• Min 6 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Knowledge in configuring DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus and Nexus IQ
• Knowledge of Container platform such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Quay
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud services configuration such as EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3 and Lambda
• Past track records in virtualization/container technology and setting up continuous integration / continuous deployment processes and tools
• Past track records in Linux/Windows Systems Administration
• Knowledge in application development and setting up of middleware
• Understanding networking protocols and services, e.g. SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs and routing will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of setting up and maintaining databases will be an added advantage
