We are seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer to serve as an individual contributor within our client's team. This role requires a professional who can install, integrate, and deploy solutions effectively, design and develop technical architectures, and ensure secure and compliant system operations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, integrate, and deploy Okta solutions in various client environments
  • Design and develop technical architectures for integrated identity management, access management, and access governance solutions
  • Document configuration, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Utilize Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL for solution customization and integration
  • Leverage Okta features for authentication and authorization services
  • Oversee privileged access management to protect sensitive resources and ensure compliance
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks to achieve project goals
  • Provide expertise in on-prem Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD
  • Develop integrated strategies for device and user authentication across application stacks
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for system improvement and optimization

  • Proven ability to work directly with customers independently
  • Solid experience in Okta Administration including SSO, MFA, and Lifecycle Management
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and protocols like LDAP, REST/SOAP APIs
  • Hands-on experience integrating Okta with various enterprise applications and systems
  • Familiarity with security concepts including Zero Trust, least privilege, and RBAC
  • Experience designing and building system automation that considers scalability, redundancy, and error handling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting complex identity-related issues
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their identity services
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC2
  • Familiarity with directory services like Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for task automation
