We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role involves interacting with customers to gather their transmission requirements and providing comprehensive solutions throughout the process, including design, coding, troubleshooting, and documentation. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in configuring networking solutions and automating transmission processes, ensuring efficient and secure data handling.

Responsibilities
- Determine customer requirements for transmission requests and help clients understand available options
- Design and implement solutions that meet customer needs
- Develop SFTP accounts, parameters, and automate file transmission using shell and Perl programming routines
- Configure Connect:Direct and file agent scripts for automating scripts
- Establish and troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity in collaboration with network, system and firewall administrators
- Mentor team members and adhere to established methodology procedures
- Provide ongoing support throughout the transmission processes, including 24x7 availability and on-call rotations
- Support maintenance installations and testing during scheduled weekend and night hours
- Execute tasks directed by project leads and occasionally perform as a project lead

- Competency in Unix/Linux application support and programming including Bash shell, Korn shell, and Perl with 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in FTP protocols such as SFTP/SSH, FTPS/SSL, HTTP/s, and PGP/GPG with 3+ years of experience
- Background in TCPIP connectivity setups, troubleshooting, and Managed File Transfer (MFT) with 2+ years of experience
- Strong problem determination and analysis skills
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with strict deadlines
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Background in Sterling Commerce (now IBM) products like Connect: Direct, Sterling File Gateway, or Cleo Harmony
- Skills in C programming
- Knowledge of Java
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and GCS Bucket storage
- Understanding of cloud architecture
