Senior Software Engineer - Markit EDM

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Markit EDM to join our team. In this role, you will act as a key developer, leading a team to deliver high-quality data integration and support for the Markit EDM platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective problem resolution.

• Lead business-as-usual initiatives and provide expert support to business and Technology teams
• Guide and mentor a team of approximately 8-10 members
• Facilitate rigorous analysis and problem-solving activities
• Ensure strict adherence to issues tracking and incident/problem management protocols
• Handle maintenance and support of Prod/test environments
• Lead effective communication with clients, business users, and teams
• Deliver consistently high-quality results in assigned work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals
• Offer timely project updates to management and the project team

• 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on the EDM platform and SQL development
• Proficiency in Markit EDM, with experience in implementations covering datasets such as Market, Instrument, Party, Reference, Corporate Actions, and Historical Time-Series
• Strong first and second line application support skills with the ability to own and resolve problems
• Background in working collaboratively and delivering high-quality outcomes
• Excellent communication skills with a preference for C1/C1+ level proficiency
• Demonstrated ability to lead and communicate effectively with diverse groups including business users, clients, and technology teams
