Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a technical virtuoso in managing production environments and optimizing system operations. This role involves ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud services, managing infrastructure deployments, and streamlining continuous integration and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the security, performance, and scalability of cloud environments on major platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure as a code (IaC) setups using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Execute containerization strategies while leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for improved application lifecycle management
  • Construct and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines employing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
  • Write and refine scripting solutions in Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate various operational tasks
  • Monitor system performance and log analytics using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance the operability of the systems
  • design and implement proactive measures to maximize system uptime and efficiency
  • Continuously assess and incorporate new technological advancements and tools to improve the reliability and security of systems

  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
  • Strong understanding and experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Expertise in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Capability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and Ruby
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role
  • Background in managing large-scale production environments
Nice to have
  • Experience with Incident Management (ITSM)
  • Skills in Java and Ruby development
  • Proficiency in Splunk
