We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to serve as a security champion for our development teams. Leveraging extensive security expertise, this role will help our business line owners comply with our security policies and guidelines through effective leadership, collaboration, and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead security remediation across various applications
  • Provide support in Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Management, Risk Management, and Audit processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and convert security policy requirements into technical guidance and actionable plans
  • Serve as a bridge between the security/EA organization and business stakeholders
  • Work with governance groups to align and implement security policies
  • Conduct security assessments and audits for applications
  • Promote awareness of security best practices among employees
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards such as GDPR and HIPAA

  • Broad expertise in security with qualifications in Information Security and Enterprise Architecture
  • Proficiency in Application Security
  • Competency in Solution Architecture
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification highly desired
  • Proven ability to influence internal leaders and maintain productive stakeholder relationships
  • Capability to manage multiple parallel projects effectively
  • Understanding of industry regulations and standards, including GDPR and HIPAA
  • Skills in collaborating and translating policy from governance groups
