Senior Security Architect

Join our Security Consultant team in Netherlands and play a pivotal role in exceeding our security measures. We are seeking a dedicated Senior Security Architect to enhance security processes, integrate best practices and collaborate on ongoing security topics and features to safeguard our data. Your expertise will drive the project, which aims to elevate security awareness and appreciation within Data Practice. Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team of engineers focused on improving and implementing security measures across the Azure Data Platform
• Analyse the current security status and culture within the Data Practice; evaluate measures that have been previously attempted
• Develop and lead strategic plans to continuously improve security measures, ensuring alignment with existing policies and compliance standards
• Implement tailored security solutions into existing applications and monitor their integration and effectiveness in fostering a culture of ongoing security improvement
• Evaluate maturity levels of various teams, applications, Azure platforms and DevOps pipelines to propose technical solutions and implementation strategies
• Forecast and instill a security-by-design culture, focusing on actionable steps that seamlessly integrate into daily workflows
• Test and deploy secure configurations to maintain the integrity of our cloud infrastructure
• Conduct security workshops using real-life scenarios and assist with threat modeling, Security Assessment questionnaires and mandatory security processes
• Led a team of engineers dedicated to implementing and advancing security measures

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a Security Architect or in a similar role
• Strong expertise in Security Engineering with a focus on data protection in Azure Cloud environments
• Extensive knowledge of Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills for regular engagement with DevOps and IT teams, ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage security projects effectively
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
• Experience with security-by-design principles and fostering security culture within an organization
