We are looking for a Senior Safety Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring functional safety within the automotive industry. Your experience with automotive compliance and standards will be essential as you collaborate with teams to implement safety processes and analyses.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Plan and apply safety activities according to ISO 26262 and IEC 61508
- Develop and support the implementation of Functional Safety Concepts for complex mixed-critical Automotive Software-Defined Vehicle platforms
- Analyze safety-relevant system requirements and derive technical safety requirements for Software Elements of Open Components
- Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis
- Collaborate deeply with external assessors and FOSS communities on the standardization of Functional Safety processes
- Work closely with system architects, software engineers, and project/product managers

- Experience in the automotive industry with Auto OEM or Tier-1
- Background in functional safety with relevant standards like IEC 61508 and ISO 26262
- Proficiency in automotive compliance and standards
- Knowledge of software process standards including ISO/IEC 12207 and ISO/IEC 15288
- Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments
- Capability to perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Hazard and Operability Studies
- English proficiency at a professional level
- Background in Automotive SPICE
- Skills in process tailoring
- Familiarity with xFMEA and Hazard Analysis
