Senior Python Software Engineer - Relocation to Greece

We are seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will utilize your extensive experience in Python development to design, develop, and maintain innovative Python applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new features to life while ensuring our applications remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Please note that this position is only for candidates who will be working from the office in Athens, Greece.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain various Python applications
  • Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for defining, designing and releasing new features
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing of Python applications
  • Stay abreast with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow best practices and methodologies in software development
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assist in continually improving our development processes
  • Share technical knowledge and expertise with team members

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Python development
  • Background in designing and developing frameworks using Python
  • Proficiency in common stacks, agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache), and container technology (Kubernetes or OpenShift)
  • Experience with DevOps platforms like GitLab
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues
