We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Engineer to join a project for our client, a global manufacturer of medical devices.
The position will strongly focus on API development and integration. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs, integrating with various systems, and deploying APIs in cloud environments. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of best practices in API development.
This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether from your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement API solutions
• Integrate APIs with backend database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Ensure comprehensive API documentation using tools like Swagger or OpenAPI
• Implement API security and authentication mechanisms, such as OAuth2, JWT, and API keys
• Debug and resolve integration and performance issues effectively
• Deploy APIs in Azure cloud environments, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Use version control systems, particularly Git, to manage the codebase and enable team collaboration

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on API development and integration
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and FastAPI frameworks
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger and OpenAPI
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, data formats (JSON), and messaging protocols (HTTP)
• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and their integration with APIs
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience working with Azure cloud platforms and deploying APIs in cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex integration issues
