Due to ongoing growth, EPAM is on the lookout for aSenior Payroll Accountant. While working with the global shared service Payroll team, you will be engaged in payroll payments, month-closure and other accounting-related tasks.
Are you detail-oriented, with a passion for finance and accounting? Do you excel in payroll practices and enjoy working with spreadsheets? If so, we want you on board!
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Handle payroll for certain EPAM subsidiaries (info preparation, communication with HR team and external agencies, re-check of calculated payrolls, SOX control files preparation etc.) and respective US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities of EPAM subsidiaries
  • Make analysis and reconciliation of payroll through all internal systems
  • Investigate complicated payroll cases
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments
  • Deal with audit requests and participate in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
  • Deal with local audits (payroll-related part)
  • Participate in regular improvement process activities with other teams, analyze areas for improvement actively, and test new improvements
  • Make Ad-hoc reports by request

  • Higher education in Economics (Finance/Accounting)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience as a Senior Payroll Accountant (or higher)/ Senior Payroll Specialist/Auditor (incl. payroll)
  • English level - B1+ or higher, both verbal and written
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel
  • Working experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage)
  • High personal responsibility, attentiveness to details, ability to control and process information that comes from many different sources
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Willingness to work hard, including overtime
  • Stress tolerance
  • Loyal, result-oriented person with a team player mentality
