We are looking for an experienced Senior MLOps Engineer to be part of our dynamic team.

The selected candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of machine learning operations, from conceptualization and implementation to upkeep and enhancement. This position demands a combination of technical prowess, leadership abilities, and comprehensive knowledge of MLOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, creation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the end-to-end ML deployment lifecycle
• Set up and manage CI/CD/CT processes
• Identify technical risks and gaps and develop mitigation strategies
• Assess new tools and technologies
• Advocate for and facilitate MLOps practices
• Work with cross-functional teams for smooth integration of ML models
• Build systems to monitor deployed model performance
• Foster innovation and keep abreast of MLOps industry advancements
• Offer technical leadership and guidance to less experienced team members
• Spearhead the creation and adoption of best practices in ML model management and deployment

• 3+ years of experience in a production role as an MLOps Engineer, ML Engineer (MLE), or Data Engineer
• Experience leading teams or projects with the capability to mentor and coach colleagues
• Familiarity with at least one MLOps platform or technology, such as Azure ML (preferred), AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Databricks MLFlow, etc
• Expertise in Databricks
• Proficient in Python and the Python ML ecosystem
• Ability to manage automated data pipelines and workflow tools
• Knowledge of fundamental software engineering tools, e.g., git, CI/CD environments, PyPi, Docker, Kubernetes
• Agile development methodology
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Effective communication skills with a solid command of English (B2+)

• Solid grasp of ML fundamentals, data preparation, and feature engineering
• Experience with an infrastructure as code (IoC) framework (e.g., Terraform / CDK TF, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation / AWS CDK, etc.)
• Knowledge of the Apache Spark ecosystem (Spark SQL, MLlib/Spark ML)
• Experience in software architecture and design
