Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Develop and articulate cloud strategies aligned with the client's organization's business objectives and long-term goals. This may involve assessing current infrastructure, identifying opportunities for cloud adoption, and outlining a roadmap for implementation
  • Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to cloud computing. Share insights and thought leadership internally and externally through presentations, whitepapers, and participation in industry events
  • Advisory Services: Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on cloud-related matters, including architecture design, migration strategies, cost optimization, security, compliance, and governance
  • Vendor Evaluation & Selection: Evaluate different cloud services & providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and assist in selecting the most suitable platform(s) and services based on the organization's requirements, budget, and technical considerations
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and operational risks associated with cloud usage & adoption. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address these risks effectively
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams across internal and client organization to facilitate a smooth transition and usage of the cloud, including change management processes, training, and communication strategies to ensure buy-in from stakeholders

  • Background: Extensive expertise in cloud technology, demonstrated through technical certifications or practical experience, specifically in implementing solutions at an enterprise scale
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is typically required
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align cloud initiatives with broader business objectives. Experience developing and executing cloud strategies that drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage
  • Consulting Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience in providing advisory services to senior executives and decision-makers, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify complex issues, evaluate options, and recommend practical solutions. Experience in conducting thorough assessments and risk analyses
  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to effectively plan, execute, and monitor cloud migration projects. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are preferred and demonstrate proficiency in specific cloud platforms
