We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant to join our Life Sciences practice in Germany. In this role, you will drive business transformation, support strategic decision making and lead the implementation of innovative technologies.
As a Senior Manager with expertise in product supply, you will deliver value-driven solutions while maintaining relationships with key Life Sciences clients in the German market. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with expertise in consulting, process optimization and client engagement within the Life Sciences industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support projects focused on digitizing and optimizing business processes in supply chain management and manufacturing for clients in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries
• Identify improvement opportunities using your expertise in lean process management methodologies, data and analytics or industry best practices to help clients transform their IT landscapes and implement innovative IT solutions
• Prepare for, participate in, contribute to and facilitate requirements gathering, business case analysis, workshops and client presentations to drive decisions on the design and roadmaps for transformation initiatives or IT solutions
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and insight into relevant industry or technology trends during both project delivery and business development engagements
• Support business development and pre-sales efforts by engaging with client stakeholders to uncover opportunities, cross-sell solutions and respond to proposal requests in collaboration with Account Managers and Business Development teams within the defined account portfolio
• Liaise with and take direction from EPAM or client program management while providing leadership, guidance and direction

• Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in business, science or engineering
• 8+ years of consulting and project management experience in a leading business, technology or niche consulting firm
• At least 6+ years of experience in the Life Sciences industry with a focus on relevant business areas such as supply chain management, manufacturing or logistics; candidates with additional operational experience in the industry are strongly encouraged to apply
• Comprehensive understanding of functional and IT-related processes, trends and relevant regulatory requirements in the above business areas
• Proven track record in winning new business
• Experience in working with or implementing at least one packaged IT solution in a relevant process area such as ERP, MES, APS or similar systems
• Experienced and skilled user of productivity and project management tools such as Microsoft 365, Miro, Jira and Azure DevOps
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at client locations as required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong client management skills
• Business fluent German and English skills are required
