Responsibilities
- Take ownership of projects from conception to operationalization, demonstrating a strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
- Mentor team members, offering clear technical leadership and fostering a collaborative working environment
- Design, build, and manage robust, maintainable, and extendable machine learning pipelines, leveraging best practices in MLOps and scalable architecture
- Work on LLMOps, including fine-tuning and productionalization of large language models for business use cases
- Work effectively in an Agile framework, ensuring regular delivery of high-value solutions and maintaining alignment with stakeholders across Europe and the US
- Create robust and maintainable Python-based solutions, including developing APIs and integration with other systems
- Leverage expertise in data wrangling, structured/unstructured data handling, machine learning algorithms, and applied mathematics/statistics
- Participate in designing scalable and efficient system architectures aligned with business needs and technical requirements
- Work closely with global stakeholders (timezone Europe + US), ensuring clear and concise communication of ideas and progress both within the team and with the business
- Use cloud technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker, while automating key processes in machine learning workflows for improved deployment and operations
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a related role
- Proficiency inAWSand other major cloud architecture and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Expertise inLLMOps, including fine-tuning and productionalizing large language models (LLMs)
- Strong proficiency inPythonand its ML ecosystem (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Deep knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, algorithms, and pipelines
- Data wrangling skills, handling structured and unstructured datasets effectively
- Solid background inmathematics, statistics, or computer science
- Good understanding ofsolution architecture principles and technical designto create scalable and efficient systems
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with moving models and services into production using AWS
- Experience with the Apache Spark ecosystem
- Advanced knowledge of LLMs/Generative AI and their production optimization
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
