Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to collaborate within our dynamic cross-functional scrum team in a designated business capability POD.
This position plays a critical role in creating backend solutions using proficiency in Java and Spring Framework to support and advance business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust Java codebase
• Design back-end microservices and REST APIs
• Ensure software quality through thorough unit testing
• Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards
• Apply best practices, including unit testing and continuous integration
• Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance teamwork
• Contribute to estimation and project planning sessions for alignment
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members

• At least 3 years of development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an allied field; Master's degree preferred
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Competency in building APIs with an understanding of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and ReactJS
• Familiarity with Java Messaging and cloud platforms
• Background in financial services or wealth management is a plus
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)

• Understanding of industry standards in financial services
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
