We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in front-end technologies and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and a proven ability to handle complex integrations and data synchronization tasks. This role will involve both developing new features and maintaining existing systems with a focus on scalability and security.

Responsibilities
- Develop connectors for Smartsheet and Asana using established design patterns
- Maintain two-way synchronization of project data, such as deliverables, tasks, assignments, and dates
- Follow best practices for security and data privacy during the development of user data and API integrations
- Utilize existing connectors as models for integrating internal (TaskFlow) and external (JIRA Cloud) systems
- Map source system fields to destination system fields and vice versa
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines
- Optimize application performance through effective coding and testing
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Java and cloud development technologies and practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with established standards

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- Minimum of 3 years of Java development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+ including heavily asynchronous RPCs
- Experience with frontend technologies, particularly Angular
- Familiarity with SQL, ORMs, and preferably Spanner/Cloud Spanner
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Karma
- Proven expertise in integrating with third-party APIs, especially Smartsheet and Asana
- Knowledge of security and privacy standards and best practices
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum
- Excellent requirements definition and management skills
- Technical proficiency in Java development and cloud integration
- Fluent English at a B2 level or higher
- Experience with additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
