Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to become an integral part of our cross-functional scrum team within a designated business capability POD.
The perfect candidate will possess substantial expertise in Java and Spring Framework, taking on a crucial role in the creation of backend solutions that advance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the Java codebase
• Design and build back-end microservices and REST APIs
• Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure software reliability
• Perform regular code reviews to uphold high standards in code quality
• Follow and advocate for best practices including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Take an active part in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance team collaboration
• Contribute actively to estimation and planning sessions to maintain project alignment
• Offer mentorship and guidance to other developers

• Minimum of 3 years of development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field; preference for Master's degree in Computer Science
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Competency in constructing APIs and understanding of microservices architecture
• Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management, is valued but not compulsory
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
