We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join the team that maintains and extends a mission-critical, high-availability, and low-latency platform for handling orders and processing trades for a wide spectrum of investment products on multiple exchanges. The platform is expanding in terms of the asset types being handled, the markets where trading is conducted, and the countries where it is being introduced.
This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Krakow.

- Analyze functional requirements, and clarify with stakeholders if required
- Prepare task estimations and decompose user stories
- Implement new functionality and be responsible for it end-to-end
- Improve existing solutions and fix defects identified by the QA team
- Participate in backlog refinement, planning, and demo meetings
- Deliver code solutions according to clean code and TDD principles
- Develop production-ready systems and components
- Actively participate in solution architecture design and implementation
- 6+ years of experience as a Java Developer, with a finance sector background being a plus
- Strong knowledge of multithreading and a good understanding of microservices-based architecture
- Experience of designing and developing end-to-end solutions
- Ability to produce secure, stable, and high-performing code
- Solid understanding of software engineering
- Being in the office 3 days per week
- Fluency in English (B2+ level)
- Understanding of cloud technologies
