Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on exciting projects. As a Java Developer, you will work on designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications that meet the needs of our clients. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of highly skilled developers, as well as work independently, to deliver high-quality software. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions.
Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in developing and designing software, with a working experience in Java and front-end technologies such as React. They should have strong programming fundamentals and the ability to rapidly self-train on new technologies.

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled developers to deliver high-quality software
• Work independently to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and programming languages
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Java programming language and Spring Boot framework
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Java
• Understanding of reactive programming concepts and practices
• Experience in developing and designing web-based applications and architecture
• Experience in front-end technologies, with a working experience in React preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to see patterns in work and come up with engineering solutions
• Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an upper-intermediate level

• Experience in operations and incident management
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
• Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Node.js
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
