Senior Java Developer

We're looking to recruit a Senior Java Developer to join our cross-functional scrum team within a business capability POD.
The right candidate will possess deep proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, and will play a crucial role in crafting backend solutions that improve business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine and sustain the Java codebase
• Architect and create back end micro-services and REST APIs
• Undertake exhaustive unit testing to ensure sturdy software performance
• Conduct consistent code reviews to uphold superior code quality
• Preserve adherence to and promote conventions like code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Participate vigorously in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance team cooperation
• Involve yourself actively in estimation and planning sessions to ensure project coherence
• Mentor and advise other developers

• At least 3 years of development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree in Computer Science favored
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Competency in developing APIs and understanding microservices architecture
• Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management, is beneficial but not mandatory
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
