We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will utilize your deep technical expertise in Java and Spring Boot within an eCommerce platform based on a MACH architecture, working with CommerceTools and a backend on SAP. You will be responsible for taking a leadership role in the development process, overseeing performance management, and ensuring optimal code functionality.

Responsibilities
- Drive development initiatives and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications and integrate business requirements into the technical architecture
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Implement and maintain robust performance management processes
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Conduct code reviews and enhance coding standards and practices
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Support the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle through new tools and technologies
- Manage the deployment and integration of new modules or features
- Maintain code quality and organization using various tools and methodologies

- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Qualifications in MACH Commerce including Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless
- Background in working with CommerceTools
- Expertise in performance management, debugging, and code optimization (Site Reliability Engineering - SRE)
- Experience in building scalable and high-performance software systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Contentful
