Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to play a vital role in our cross-functional scrum team within a dedicated business capability POD.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, fulfilling a key function in developing backend solutions that drive business efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the Java codebase
• Design and build back-end microservices and REST APIs
• Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure software reliability
• Perform regular code reviews to maintain high standards in code quality
• Follow and advocate for best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Take an active role in SCRUM ceremonies to strengthen team cohesion
• Contribute actively to estimation and planning sessions to support project alignment
• Offer mentorship and guidance to other developers

• A minimum of 3 years of development experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; preference for a Master's degree in Computer Science
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework
• Competency in building APIs and familiarity with microservices architecture
• Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management, viewed as a valuable asset but not mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+ level)
