Senior Go Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our advanced software solutions. As a Senior Go Developer, you will work on designing and implementing efficient, reliable, and scalable systems, collaborating with a distributed team to tackle complex challenges.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions with Go, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Operate or develop monitoring tools such as Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability), Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog
• Collaborate with distributed teams, leveraging excellent communication skills to align on requirements and deliverables
• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot critical issues in production environments effectively
• Work on cloud services at scale and optimize systems for improved reliability and performance
• Create and deploy containerized applications, using platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
• Enhance system observability by integrating and improving monitoring and alerting mechanisms
• Optimize database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and messaging queues like Kafka for application workflows
• Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously improve the software development process

• 3+ years of experience in Go language
• Background in monitoring tools such as Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing cloud environments at scale with platforms like AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with container-based development using Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with flexibility to work in a distributed team
• English level B1+ for effective communication

• Interest in learning new technologies and contributing to continuous innovation
• Showcase of contributions to open source projects demonstrating community engagement
• Experience in SRE and/or DevOps roles
• Experience working with database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL), messaging queues (Kafka) and exposure to working with web servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.)
• Hands-on experience monitoring or operating platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
