We are looking for a Go Developer with a strong background in software development and a passion for new technologies.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our clients with their engineering needs, focusing on expertise in Go, Kubernetes, and cloud computing aspects.

This position offers a choice between remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, and a hybrid mode from one of our clients' well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Krakow, or Wroclaw.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side and client-side applications
  • Develop microservices and event-driven systems capable of handling millions of requests per day
  • Deal with databases
  • Perform DevOps tasks necessary for the successful delivery and support of services
  • Develop APIs for customer service lifecycle control
  • Integrate services into the existing system landscape
  • Full-cycle application development in an Agile environment
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback for code improvement
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for the project
  • Work daily with stakeholders in Europe and sometimes with the US

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Go, Node.js, and ideally Python or Scala
  • Experience with databases such as Redis, PostgreSQL, or similar SQL databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Amazon and its services
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and understanding of Kubernetes operators
  • Production practice of writing RESTful APIs and using Swagger to generate REST clients
  • Good English communication skills & experience in client-facing communications
  • Solid SDLC understanding and experience working in an agile environment
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, and ideally Python or Scala
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Kubernetes, Terraform, Elasticsearch, and ELK stack
  • Experience with writing Kubernetes operators, Crossplane, AWS, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions
  • Experience with API design and implementation, Protobufs, and gRPC
  • Familiarity with PaaS solutions such as Cloud Foundry or Heroku
  • Possibility to work in a hybrid mode from the customer's office
