Senior Functional Consultant - SAP MDG Functional

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Functional Consultant specializing in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) to add to our team. This role involves a blend of tracking business requirements within SAP Finance & Tax applications, instigating enhancements, and managing projects in the Finance ERP portfolio.

• Participate in requirement-gathering workshops with IT Managers and business stakeholders
• Model business processes, data flows, and technology frameworks to identify areas for improvement
• Facilitate conversations to align business requirements with technology solutions while assessing risks and potential impacts
• Translate business needs into actionable solutions and documented specifications
• Maintain and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with the final solution
• Guarantee the traceability of requirements from initiation, through testing and scope changes, to the final implementation
• Collaborate with software engineers and developers to ensure system and database designs accommodate business use cases
• Develop criteria for test scenarios and engage in appropriate test cycles to validate solutions against business needs
• Define and enhance standards, methodologies, tools, and knowledge repositories for functional excellence
• Implement lessons learned from previous projects to optimize service implementations
• Drive continuous improvement, life-cycle management, and stable operations across all IT applications crucial to business processes

• 6+ years of experience in project delivery within the domains of S/4 FI & MDG-Finance
• Proficiency in S/4 FI, General Ledger, and Master Data Setup
• Competency in configuration of rule-based workflows with an understanding of Accounting Master data, Controlling Master data, and Consolidation master data
• Background in Data Model Enhancement, Data Replication Framework (DRF), and Business Rules Framework (BRFplus)
• Understanding of IT project management including agile methodologies
• Familiarity with IT security and compliance standards

• Capability to mentor and guide junior consultants on SAP MDG functionalities
