Senior Functional Consultant (SAP MDG Functional)

We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant with SAP MDG expertise to join our team. This role is crucial for identifying and documenting business requirements, driving enhancements, and delivering solutions across our SAP Finance & Tax applications.

• Collaborate with IT Managers and Business teams to document and understand new requirements
• Lead and participate in workshops to gather business requirements
• Assess and model business processes, data flows, and technology to identify improvement opportunities
• Translate business requirements into feasible solutions while assessing risks and business impacts
• Maintain clear, updated documentation to communicate requirements and track alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure traceability of requirements from inception through testing to final solution delivery
• Consult with software engineers to understand software limitations and deliver system and database design elements
• Develop acceptance criteria for test scenarios and oversee testing to validate solution alignment with business needs
• Define and uphold standards, methodologies, and tools for exceptional functional performance
• Proactively drive continuous improvement in IT applications and manage the lifecycle of the IT portfolio

• 6+ years of experience in project management within the domains of S/4 FI & MDG-Finance
• Proficiency in S/4 FI, General Ledger, Master Data Setup, rule-based workflow configuration
• Competency in Accounting Master Data, Controlling Master Data, Consolidation Master Data
• Familiarity with Data Model Enhancement, Data Replication Framework, Business Rules Framework
• Understanding of IT project management and agile delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards

• Background in leading cross-functional teams
• Experience in global deployments
• Certification in SAP S/4 Hana
